Why have we launched the Tendy web platform?
We built Tendy as a web platform because some things are simply easier on a larger screen. Label templates, hunting team administration, and exports take more time and patience to navigate on a small phone screen than on a computer. We are continuously developing new features, and the web platform allows us to build more of them in a way that makes things easier for you as a user, rather than cramming everything into the app.
The demand has also been there. Several of you have asked for a way to work with your Tendy data from a computer, especially when it comes to managing an entire hunting team or building custom label templates.
Same account, no new registration
You log in to the web platform with the same Tendy account you already use in the app. Go to www.tendyapp.co and sign in with your usual credentials. No separate registration is needed, and your data follows automatically.
What can you do on the web as a complement to the app?
The app is still where you log what happens in the field and at the butchery. The web platform is where you handle what works better on a larger screen:
View and manage data. Review previously logged game and other data, and edit it after the fact if something went wrong in the heat of the moment.
Administer the hunting team. Invite members, manage roles, and view the team's combined statistics in one place.
Reports and statistics. Get an overview of harvests and other statistics over time, instead of scrolling through them post by post in the app.
Build label templates. Create and edit labels for Scriptor with more space to work on than a phone screen provides.
Export journals. Export your data for the season, for example for your own records or to share with the hunting team.
The app and the web work together
The idea is not for the web platform to replace the app. What you do in the field still belongs there. The web is a complement for things that take more time to sit down with: admin, templates, and overviews. Everything you do in one place is reflected in the other, because it is the same account and the same data throughout. You still need the Tendy app to manage your products such as Scriptor, Nemus, and Libra, as the web platform cannot sync with the devices.
