1. Start your Scriptor and the app.
2. Tap the three lines in the top left corner.
3. Tap → Create template
4. You will now enter the template builder, where you set up your template for how your labels should look when printing labels for a selected animal.
5. All elements you add are placeholders. This means that when you select for example “Animal Image”, a bird will appear. The image will change to the selected animal or food item when you print your labels.
Example:
You want to print labels for a butchered wild boar.
You select wild boar/piglet, and the image in your template will automatically change to a wild boar.
All elements in the template builder work the same way. You choose the placement, size, font, and whether you want an image/logo in your template. The correct information will then automatically appear when you print your label later.
6. Example of how to make changes in your template:
Click Animal Image. A bird will appear in the top left corner of the label.
You can move the bird by holding and dragging it.
You can also change the size by dragging the two lines next to it up or down.
When you are happy with the placement and size, you can continue adding other elements to your template.
7. To remove an element from your template, tap the element and then tap the trash icon.
8. To change the size of text or elements, tap the element and adjust using the – / + buttons.
9. To center an element in the middle of the label, tap the element and then tap the four lines in the center.
The element will automatically move to the center of the template.
10. To change font/typeface, tap the A with the green background and switch between the four available fonts.
11. To make the text bold, tap the text in your template and then tap “B” on the right side.
You can change the font weight between:
Regular
Medium

Tips
When you are in the template builder and have questions, tap the small “i” icon next to the trash icon in the top right corner to see instructions on how the template builder works.
Testing your template
You can test print your template. The print will not pull any data from an aging process.
The print will only show your placeholders on a label.
To test how your template will look when you start using it, the easiest way is to make a print where you select the animal or food item and then print.
Don’t forget to save your template when you are finished!
