1. Create an animal profile
On the Animals tab, tap the + icon in the top right (or the green + button in the center of the navigation bar and select New animal). Choose a category (Game or Livestock), then species and optionally subspecies.
Fill in the basic details – who harvested the animal, harvest date, municipality, etc. – and tap Next.
Review the summary. Here you can also see which sharing settings will apply – you can change them later. Tap Save.
The profile is saved and opens directly.
2. How the profile works
Each animal profile has three tabs:
Info – basic details, safety information, extra info and images
Aging – linked aging and real-time data from a connected aging device (temperature, humidity)
Cuts – all cuts you have linked to the animal, with total weight, total value and number of packages
At the top right of the profile you will find:
Share (share icon) – share a link to the animal profile
Settings (gear icon) – edit the profile, open sharing settings, archive or delete the animal
3. Add cuts to inventory
Go to the Cuts tab and tap Print label.
Choose a cut and print a label with a QR code – the cut will then be created in the inventory and automatically linked to the animal profile.
See the guide How to create an inventory item for the full printing flow.
When the cut is saved, it appears under Cuts, along with a summary of total weight, value and number of packages.
4. Link an aging process
You can start an aging process directly from the animal profile. The animal is already selected and cannot be changed – you only need to name the aging process and choose which aging device to use.
Measurements are automatically linked to the profile.
You can follow temperature and humidity in real time under the Aging tab.
5. Customize sharing settings
Tap the gear icon at the top of the profile and open Sharing settings. Here you decide what information should be visible when someone scans the QR code on a label from this animal.
The settings are grouped into:
About the animal
Extra info
Safety information
Aging
Toggle individual fields on or off as needed. Everything you leave turned off remains private.
See the Animal Profiles guide for more about how sharing works, as well as rules around archiving, limits and Premium.
