Use the correct rolls
Use Tendy label rolls 76x50 or 76x76 for best results. Third-party rolls may produce inferior results and damage the device.

7. Connect to the Tendy app

The Tendy app pairs with Scriptor over Bluetooth and is where you design and send labels.

Download the app

Search for Tendy on Google Play or App Store, or scan the QR codes in the printed user guide that came in the box.

Getting started

  1. Open the Tendy app and log in with email, Google, or Apple.

  2. Turn ON Bluetooth on your phone.

  3. When the app asks, grant Bluetooth permission to Tendy.

  4. Turn on Scriptor (hold the power button for 2 seconds) and tap Connect to new device in the app.

8. Printing labels

Once Scriptor is paired, all label design takes place in the Tendy app. The printer only prints what the app sends to it.

Print a label

  1. In the app, tap the ( + ) sign in the middle

  2. Then tap "print"

  3. Select what you want to print (animal/fish/berries/mushrooms etc., then the cut)

  4. The data will automatically populate your label. You can add or change the information as desired. Here you can also choose which template to use and what label size you prefer.

  5. Tap Print. Scriptor prints in 1–2 seconds.

10. Cleaning and maintenance

Routine cleaning

  • Turn off the printer and unplug the USB-C before cleaning.

  • Wipe the outside with a dry, soft cloth.

  • For the print head: wait until it has cooled down. Wipe gently with a cotton swab lightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol. Allow it to air dry before closing the cover.

  • Do not pour liquid into the paper compartment or onto the print head.

What to avoid

  • Solvents, acetone, bleach, abrasive cleaners

  • Submerging the device in water

  • Storage at temperatures outside -20 °C to 60 °C

  • Direct sunlight for extended periods (thermal paper darkens)

Long-term storage

If you are not going to use Scriptor for more than a month, charge it to approximately 50 %, turn it off, and store it in a cool and dry place. Top it up every three months to keep the battery in good condition.
