Nemus is a connected tenderizing timer that measures temperature and humidity and syncs the values directly to the Tendy app via Bluetooth. Insert the battery, mount the sensor where you tenderize your meat, and track the process in the app.

This guide covers installation, safety, daily use, and what to do if something stops working.

The battery, a CR2450 lithium coin cell battery, is already inside the sensor at delivery. Pull out the insulation tab to activate it. Read more in section 4.

Nemus is a small sensor with no buttons or display. You read temperature and humidity in the Tendy app.

1. Sensor - measures temperature and humidity.

2. Battery cover - turn to unlocked (Unlock) to open, and to locked (Lock) to close.

3. Wall mount - for mounting the sensor.

4. Hanging wire - for hanging the sensor.

5. Double-sided tape - for attaching the wall mount.

Intended use
Nemus is a connected tenderizing timer (thermometer and hygrometer) for non-professional use. It measures temperature and humidity, for example in a cold room or a tenderizing refrigerator, and syncs the measurements to the Tendy app. Any other use is outside the intended use.

Coin cell battery and children
Nemus contains a coin cell battery. Keep the product and battery out of reach of children. Swallowing a coin cell battery can cause serious or life-threatening internal injuries within just a few hours. If you suspect someone has swallowed a battery, seek emergency medical care immediately.

Water resistance
Nemus is dust-proof and waterproof in accordance with IP67. It can withstand brief immersion in water, but do not submerge it unnecessarily and do not expose it to high-pressure washing.

Battery

Nemus is powered by a CR2450 lithium coin cell battery (3 V). Replace only with the same type. Insert the battery with the positive pole (+) facing up. Do not attempt to charge, short-circuit, crush, or burn the battery. Dispose of used batteries at a battery collection point, not in household waste.

There are no user-serviceable parts inside other than the battery. For service, contact [email protected].

Place Nemus where you tenderize your meat, for example in a cold room or a tenderizing refrigerator. Position the sensor where air circulates freely.

The Tendy app pairs with Nemus over Bluetooth. Once paired, measurements sync directly to the app.

Once Nemus is paired, it measures temperature and humidity every five minutes and syncs the values to the app when your phone is within range (up to approximately 25 m).

In the app, you can track up to five tenderizing processes simultaneously. Start a process for the meat you are tenderizing, and the app will log temperature and humidity over time so you can follow the progress.

You do not need to keep your phone nearby at all times. Open the app close to the sensor at regular intervals to retrieve the latest measurements.

Nemus uses a CR2450 lithium coin cell battery that lasts approximately six months. When the app shows a low battery level, replace the battery.

Dispose of the old battery at a battery collection point. Keep new and old batteries out of reach of children.

If you are not going to use Nemus for an extended period, remove the battery and store the sensor in a dry, cool place.

Nemus does not connect to the internet and stores no personal data on the device. Bluetooth pairing requires user confirmation in the Tendy app. Any firmware updates are signed and delivered via the app. Nemus is designed to comply with the standards in the EN 18031 series pursuant to RED articles 3.3(d), (e), (f).

The complete technical documentation as well as EMC and radio test reports are held by Tendy AB and can, upon reasonable request, be provided to competent authorities via [email protected].

Electronic waste. The symbols on the product, its accessories, or packaging indicate that the device must not be treated as unsorted household waste, but must be collected separately. Hand in the device at a collection point for recycling of electrical and electronic waste (WEEE) if you live within the EU or in other European countries that have separate collection systems for such waste. By disposing of the device correctly, you help prevent possible risks to the environment and human health that could otherwise arise from improper waste handling. Recycling materials helps preserve natural resources.

Recycle the packaging separately in accordance with local regulations. Sort cardboard with paper, plastic film with plastic, and any metal parts separately. In France, the Triman logo and the Info-Tri sorting guide apply to the packaging.

Standard warranty. Tendy AB warrants Nemus against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase, provided normal use and compliance with the conditions in this guide. Keep your receipt as proof of purchase.

What is covered. Manufacturing defects that affect normal function. We will repair the product, replace it, or provide a refund at our discretion.

What is not covered. Damage from accidents, drops, liquids beyond the IP67 rating, unauthorised repairs, normal wear and tear, leaking batteries, or use outside the intended use described in section 3.

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law and national law. Some markets provide you with stronger rights than our standard warranty:
